Humble Beginnings
At 26, I embarked on the cycling adventure of a lifetime, opening the doors of Los Angeles Brakeless Bicycles, affectionately known as LA Brakeless or The LAB. Back then, the vision was clear: a boutique bike shop that catered to those who appreciated aesthetics and the thrill of cycling.

From our humble beginnings in a compact 250 sq ft space, we quickly gained momentum, becoming a staple in the cycling community. LA Brakeless offered custom track builds, in a style that resonated with enthusiasts seeking one-of-a-kind rides. Our youthful, hip, and street culture vibe attracted an international following, solidifying our presence in both cycling and art cultures.

As times changed, so did our focus. By 2014, I had become a mother, and the dynamics of my life and relationship with cycling shifted. The journey from a 26-year-old without kids to a mother transformed my perspective, shaping the store's direction and offerings.
